Hi Carolyn, I’m so glad that you enjoyed the Crossfire Trilogy. There will be a fourth book, towards the end of 2014. I don’t know if you have read the novella Driftwood, which is a prequel spinoff of the Crossfire Trilogy. I’ve had a lot of requests for a sequel to Driftwood, which features Karl Dietzen and Nancy Kendall as the main characters. So the fourth book will actually be known as the second book in the Driftwood Trilogy. It will take place about a year after Hearts on Fire ended, so it will also feature Stefan and Marcelle, and what happens further in their lives, thus satisfying the want for a fourth Crossfire book.
Unfortunately I had not anticipated this demand for a fourth book, and had started a new project, the Blackstone Trilogy, of which the first book, Lily’s Reprieve is already available. I’m busy with the sequel of Lily’s Reprieve now, but as soon as I am finished I will get going on the ‘fourth’ Crossfire book.

Hi Niki, How are you doing? I’m done reading the first book crossfire and can’t wait to start the 2nd and then the 3rd book i really love the way you wrote it love the characters as well.. Unfortunately, I don’t have the copy yet and I’ve been looking for an actual book, is it publish on paper back? because It won’t work on my phone. And I’m dying to read it. And I’m outside US (Philippines) and I’ve been looking on all the Bookstore here they don’t have it.. How can i purchase a real book? (I’m a collector of books)..

Thanks for contacting me. At present I have no paperback copies of Crossfire available. I am working on that, and If you check on Amazon in about three months, you will see that the paperback versions of Crossfire will be available. I also plan to do a hardcover omnibus collectors edition. However, it will all be available on Amazon. I don’t distribute to bookstores, because it would take too much away from my writing time. And at the end of the day, the most important thing is to get the next book finished. I’m not sure why the second Crossfire book won’t work on your phone, especially if the first one was fine. It would be best if you contact the technical department of the retailer you bought it from. Good luck, and happy reading. 🙂

Hi Angel, I’m thrilled that you enjoyed the Crossfire Trilogy. Yes, that guy on the cover is super duper yummy. Alas, I have no name for him, though I also searched, just like you.
What I can tell you is that he is Austrian, which is why I picked him because I thought he could look German. The photographer who granted me the license is Yuri Arcurs. If you search on 123rf.com you will see there are more photos of our mystery man. Yuri Arcurs also has a website where you will find more photos.

Hi. I just wanted to congratulate you on such a great trilogy. I had had Crossfire on my Kindle for sometime, but if I had known how much it would grip me, I would have bumped it up the “to read” list a ling time ago. It totally captivated me, and as soon as I finished it, I had to go to Amazon and get the next two instalments and driftwood too. I devoured them all in a weekend. There were moments on volume 2 and 3 that I was at the edge of my seat, and it reminded me of Robert Ludlum’s style. They are so good that I find it incomprehensible that your presence in Goodreads is not a lot greater.
After reading Driftwood, I was devastated not to know if you would continue with the story or not. I’m very glad I have found your blog and read that you are planning a sequel for Karl and Nancy. Thank God! Where do I sign to pre-order.

Hi Teresa, thank you for commenting. I love your enthusiasm, and am thrilled that you enjoyed the Crossfire Trilogy. Yes, Karl and Nancy are going to get their sequel. The working title at the moment is Somali Sunrise, and I have already done some work on the manuscript. I expect to release it probably around the end of 2014, but I will have a more specific date closer to the time. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pre-order, but if you follow my blog, I always announce new releases here first.

Hi Nikki,
I am sorry to report that I have not yet managed to bring out the paperback version of Crossfire. I underestimated the amount of time it would take me to reformat al three manuscripts to enable me to convert them to paperback. The sequel to Lily’s Reprieve unfortunately took so much of my time that I have decided to leave the Crossfire paperback for 2014. I can’t give you an exact date because I don’t want you to be disappointed again, but it will be sometime in 2014.

Hi Rosie. A fourth Crossfire book is on the cards. At present I’m busy editing Somali Sunrise, which is the sequel to Crossfire: Driftwood. It is the second book in the Driftwood Trilogy, but in the sequence of events it does constitute the fourth Crossfire book. Please give Driftwood a try, if you haven’t yet. Then you’ll be up to speed with Somali Sunrise when it releases. Hope you have a great day!

Hi Emanuelle, I’m glad you’ve started reading books, even at the age of 35. There’s a whole new world waiting for you out there. What I love most about books is their ability to transport you to another world. It is the ultimate form of escapism.
To answer your question, there will be a third book in the Driftwood Trilogy towards the end of 2016.
I’m flattered that you’ve read all my books. What a lovely compliment. I’m working on the third book of the Blackstone Trilogy now and will publish it near the end of this year.

Hi Lisa. I’m not sure if you’re referring to Crossfire: Hearts on Fire, the third book in the Crossfire Trilogy. If you are, then the follow on to that is Crossfire: Somali Sunrise, which is the second book in the Driftwood Trilogy. There will be a third book in the Driftwood Trilogy, concluding Stefan and Marcelle’s story, which will be available at the end of 2016.
